|ALSO SISTERS| Sonia and Miriam Albert-Sobrino are independent filmmakers born and raised between Madrid and Galicia (Spain). Their professional adopted name is a portmanteau of ALbert and SObrino. 
After a brief career as Registered Nurses, in Scotland and Spain, the sisters decided to follow a childhood dream and pursue a degree in filmmaking. Four years later, they both graduated with Honors with a major in Film, New Media and Communications from the University of A Coruña (Galicia, Spain). In 2014 they earned an MFA in Film Production from the University of Utah. They currently reside in Salt Lake City, where they teach Film as Visiting Assistant Professors at the University of Utah. Their work showcases their interest in Film as an Art form, as well as their personal search for innovation and a distinct voice.
